Takeaways from the England vs. Turkey Friendly
Whether Kane’s goal in the early minutes of match was offside may be questionable, but England’s readiness for Euro 2016. Yes, this may be Turkey’s first loss in almost a year and a half, but Turkey’s ability to keep the game close should be concerning for the English squad, especially regarding the defensive side. Turkey, on the other hand, is looking better than most people realize.
As to be expected, keep your eyes on Kane (despite missing a penalty), Vardy, and Drinkwater for England, but Hodgson has his work cut out for him. In terms of Turkey, their attack looks better than expected with a goal from Calhanoglu and strong play from Inan.

MLS hurts Euro 2016 chances (shocking...)
Andrea Pirlo, the once great Italian midfielder will most likely be spending June in his new home of New York. Although he doesn’t regret the move, the 37 year-old World Cup champion admits his move to the MLS hurt his chances for making Antonio Conte’s squad. He said, “"When someone decides to come to the U.S., he knows what he's getting into. I reflected on this and I knew what the risks were. It's clear that anyone who plays in Belgium or another league with less quality still has a chance of making the Champions League or the Europa League. And that's what makes the difference."
